Afternoon Tea

A ritual fit for royalty

Afternoon Tea is a quintessentially English tradition and is upheld in its finest form here at The Milestone, recently highly commended at the Afternoon Tea Awards, 2018 and 2017. Served in Cheneston's Restaurant, the Park Lounge or the Conservatory, it is a treat in more ways than one - a delicious array of delicate finger sandwiches is accompanied by warm freshly baked scones served with Devonshire clotted cream and home-made preserves, as well as a selection of pastries including éclairs, tartlets, cupcakes and macaroons.

Accompanied by a vast tea menu or perhaps a glass of champagne, enjoy tea at your leisure in fine surroundings and experience the superior service for which The Milestone is renowned.

Top tip: Make sure you let us know which treat you liked best and we'll be happy to bring you another, as well as free flowing top-ups of your selected tea or coffee.

Do you know where your tea comes from?

Go into any house in Britain and you’ll likely be offered one of the oldest, most popular drinks in the world - tea. But do you really know where and how your tea is sourced? To find out more about the art of making quality tea, its tasting notes and characteristics, our Food & Beverage Manager, Fabrizio Russo, visited Sri Lanka to meet our ethical tea suppliers PMD tea.
