As you step in from the bustling city streets of Kensington you will be struck by the fine traditional décor, rich mahogany furniture, warm wood panelling and the abundance of natural daylight pouring in from the Victorian leaded windows. Enter a world of calm sophistication and sumptuous luxury in our dining room, a room full of character, reflecting the distinctive period architecture of the building.

Enjoy exceptional cuisine with an emphasis on cutting-edge British cuisine, prepared with the highest quality of fresh ingredients. This is fine dining but in a warm and friendly atmosphere, free of unnecessary formality. The dishes you find on the menu are also influenced by Beatrice Tollman, President and Founder of the Red Carnation Hotel Collection who has a particular passion for food.

Our impressive wine list includes over 300 expertly selected vintages for you to savour. If you have a specific favourite that doesn’t feature in our cellar, please ask us and we will be more than happy to try and meet your request.

ULTIMATE BREAKFAST EXPERIENCE

Breakfast at The Milestone is a hearty affair, with a wide choice to satisfy every taste and inclination. From traditional Full English breakfast with eggs prepared however you like, to any omelette you can think of, or French toast, pancakes and waffles served with fruit, cream and maple syrup; to kippers or smoked haddock, and the chef’s signature dish - eggs benedict.The continental buffet  includes different fruit options, various types of cereal, luxury muesli and granola, organic yoghurts, salamis, hams and smoked salmon, a spread of cheeses and pickles, a wide choice of breads and tempting trays of croissants and Danish pastries. 

DINING IN THE ORATORY

For those special occasions, intimate private dinners, lunches, breakfasts or afternoon teas, the circular Oratory, with its ornate vaulted ceiling and wood panelling, is perfect. Located next to the main restaurant (and once the private chapel of the original house), the Oratory provides an enchanting space for up to eight guests.
