The Milestone hotel appoints Rob Creaser as Executive Chef

The multi-award winning Milestone Hotel & Residences, located in the heart of London’s royal borough of Kensington, has appointed Mr. Rob Creaser as its Executive Head Chef. Leading a kitchen team of 14, Creaser will be responsible for overseeing all of the hotel’s dining experiences, which includes Cheneston’s Restaurant’s elegant menu of fine British cuisine, an innovative selection of Afternoon Tea options, and private dining in London’s most intimate historic venue, The Oratory.

Creaser brings a great passion for food and more than 25 years’ experience to The Milestone Hotel & Residences’ kitchens. With a love of luxury hotels, Creaser was previously Executive Sous Chef at the Beaumont Hotel in Mayfair and has also worked in a number of leading five-star properties in South Africa, including Executive Chef at the Michelangelo in Johannesburg, the Commodore Hotel in Cape Town and the Londolozi Private Game Reserve in Mpumalanga.

Joining the London flagship hotel of the acclaimed Red Carnation Hotel Collection fulfils a long-term career aspiration for Creaser. Speaking about his new role at The Milestone Hotel & Residences, he said:

“Having spent time in both London and South Africa, I have long been familiar with The Red Carnation Hotel Collection and their tradition of excellence in the hospitality industry. It’s an honour to join the fantastic team at The Milestone, and I am looking forward to being part of a gourmet tradition that comes right from the top. I shall be overseeing an innovative menu of fine British cuisine, including some of the legendary dishes perfected by Mrs Bea Tollman, the Collection’s President & Founder; and am looking forward to expanding my repertoire to include the timeless tradition of British Afternoon Tea.”
