18/10/2008 The Milestone Hotel is voted Best Hotel in the British Isles
The readers of Condé Nast Traveler have named The Milestone as Best Hotel in the British Isles in the magazine‘s 21st Annual Readers‘ Choice Awards. Situated opposite Kensington Palace and Kensington Gardens (Hyde Park), The Milestone is a luxury, boutique hotel offering 57 guest rooms as well as six sumptuous long-stay apartments. In addition to a clutch of other awards, The Milestone was also named Best Hotel in the World for Service by readers of a Travel & Leisure in a poll conducted in June 2008

04/06/2008 Milestone barman Ercolano wins Galvin Cup
It was cocktail shakers at dawn on 3rd June when bar professionals from five-star hotels and style bars across the UK gathered for the Annual Galvin Cup competition. First prize in this prestigious competition, which has become a fixture on the UK hospitality calendar, went to Marco Ercolano, resident barman at Stables' Bar at London's Milestone Hotel.
