Jonathan Raggett has worked in hotels since leaving Westminster College with a Higher National Diploma in Hotel Management. Jonathan joined RCH in 1998 as General Manager of The Rubens Hotel. In 2000 he was promoted to Managing Director, overseeing the rapid expansion to the thirteen international properties RCH now operate. In November 2009, Johnathan Raggett was delighted to be named Hotelier of the Year at the world-renowned Hotel Catey Annual Industry Awards organised by the Caterer & Hotelkeeper.
"We are a family run small collection of five- and four-star hotels who fight the big chains for business. We will never have the same Sales and Marketing spend as these players, so it is my belief that we need to make an even better job of taking care of our guests."

Originally from Canada, Ryan was around food from a young age as his father was a chef and his mother ran a small dinner style restaurant in Edmonton. Ryan has worked under some prestigious chefs in various restaurants and hotels from Canada, Ireland, Wales and France. Ryan joins us from our sister hotel Summer Lodge in Dorset whose restaurant won Tatlers ‘best out of town restaurant’, ‘best restaurant in Dorset’ and Condé Nast Gold for best hotel restaurant in the UK. As a long standing member of the Red Carnation Hotel family, we welcome him to the London flagship hotel and look forward to Ryan’s new menus.

I started my love affair with The Milestone Hotel as Senior Sous Chef in 2002. Many moons later I find myself as F&B Manager and am delighted at the prospect of leading the F&B team. For us it's all about exceeding our guest's expectations and making them feel like family. I can't wait to introduce you to our superb dining options, exceptional wines and fantastic service. What I can tell you now though is that "every night is Champagne night at The Milestone".

I have spent the past twenty-seven years working in the hotel industry, starting my career as a night porter in Edinburgh, Scotland and then progressing onto concierge before moving to London in 1986.
