Many of the theatre world's most influential choreographers and directors have taken the Tchaikovsky classic Swan Lake and brought it to life with their own unique twist.

However, few have achieved it with the same majesty which Derek Deane created when he debuted his interpretation of the ballet 13 years ago.

Heralded by critics and audiences alike, Deane's interpretation went on to captivate more than 450,000 people worldwide with its mix of stunning costumes, sensational lighting and dramatic storylines.

Those who have not yet had the pleasure of witnessing this amazing spectacle will have the chance to do so when the production comes to the Royal Albert Hall later this year.

A choreographic kaleidoscope awaits as 120 of the English National Ballet's performers take to the stage, with 60 swans gliding across the arena floor while Tchaikovsky's spine-tingling score reverberates around this famous venue.
