People staying at the Milestone Hotel on Christmas day should head to Hyde Park's Serpentine Lido if they want to catch an annual spectacle that sees swimmers test their endurance.
On Christmas morning, swimmers take to the chilly waters of the Lido located just a four-minute taxi ride away from the luxury London hotel for the race, which is recommended only for those with strong hearts.
Guests of the Milestone who wish to test their endurance can also take to the waters by registering with the Serpentine Swimming Club beforehand as only members will be allowed to swim.
Those brave enough to go for the seasonal dip may want to treat themselves to Christmas day lunch at the Milestone Hotel, which will be served in Cheneston's restaurant between 12.30pm and 5:00pm.
Before the hearty meal they can also enjoy a warming glass of mulled wine or a mug of hot chocolate on arrival through the Magical London Package, which includes full English breakfast.
