Event: Jane Brown - 100 Portraits, in association with the Guardian
Date: October 23rd until November 22nd
Jane Brown has been taking portraits for the Observer since the late 1940s and has established herself as one of, if not the finest portrait photographers of her generation.
From the end of October, guests at the luxury London hotel the Milestone can see the wonderful body of work she has built up throughout her distinguished carer at the Jane Brown: 100 Portraits exhibition, which will be held at Kings Place.
Some of her most iconic images will be on display, including portraits of Samuel Beckett, the Queen and Bjork, while there will also be various unknown portraits captured in the 1950s and 60s on display.
Working exclusively in black and white, Brown's work is a must for those with a love of photography and art.
Thankfully, guests at the Milestone will only have to travel quarter of an hour to view them and, after the day is done, visitors can return to the hotel and take advantage of the Get More From Your Stay package.
The deal includes a choice from a chilled bottle of Veuve Cliquot and a posy of flowers, a romantic turndown, a shopping voucher for Harrods worth £50, a three-course table d'hote meal for two and tickets to the London Eye.
