Event: Ian McKeever Temple Paintings 2004 - 2006
Date: September 4th until October 17th
Ian McKeever's work has secured him a unique place in the art world, with his pictorial language earning him international acclaim and setting him apart from his peers.
Temple Paintings 2004-2006 is the latest collection of paintings which express the artist's fascination with a visual language that varies between figuration and abstraction.
The inspiration for the works came in 2004, when McKeever visited China and was overwhelmed by the profound impact the Buddhist temples had on him.
Guests at the luxury London hotel the Milestone, which is less than 15 minutes away from King's Place, will see a collection of paintings which explore the disjunction between the striking physical architecture and their role as places of worship and spirit.
In addition, those keen to learn more about the artist and his vision can do so, as there will be an accompanying monograph, giving an in-depth overview of him and all he has achieved to date.
After a day at King's Place, guests at the Milestone can return and enjoy the delights of the Get More From Your Stay package.
Visitors are given a choice from a chilled bottle of Veuve Cliquot, a romantic turndown, a £50 shopping vouchers for Harrods, a three-course table d'hote dinner and two tickets to the London Eye to enjoy.
