After a series of sold-out concerts in the US in 2008, Clapton will go on his first UK tour in three years with a series of gigs at the Royal Albert Hall.

The veteran rocker will play long into the night, running through his back catalogue of chart-topping hits, rolling back the years to a time when one flick of his fingers would send shivers down the spine.
