Classical Spectacular at the Royal Albert Hall

Classical music, lights and lasers are the ingredients which make up Classical Spectacular, a five-day musical extravaganza which is seen by more than two million people the world over.

The Royal Albert Hall becomes more like the Ministry of Sound, with bright beams of pink, yellow, green and blue fired across the building - but instead of electronica, the air is filled with renditions of pieces from Wagner, Handel, Rossini and more.

A state-of-the-art lighting rig provides a spectacular backdrop to this classical showcase, where 200 musicians will cross the stage, including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, who will thrill crowds with versions of Nessun Dorma, Land of Hope and Glory and others.
