The stage at the Royal Albert Hall will be lit with the fire and passion of Seville when Carmen, the world's most-popular opera, comes to the capital.

Smitten, the foolish watchman succumbs to her charm and duly finds himself discarded when the gypsy gets what she wants.

After securing her escape, she runs to the arms of the glamorous bullfighter Escamillo to live happily ever after.

However, Don Jose is a broken and bitter man, who chases the girl and his pride, leading to tragic consequences for all in this tale of love, betrayal and superstition.
