Vive le France will be the cry in the new year as the France Show returns to London, bigger and better than ever.

More than 30,000 visitors are expected for the 2009 event, which will feature a food theatre with celebrity chef Jean-Christophe Novelli, who will put on live cookery demonstrations along with other culinary wizards.

In addition, there will be an Artisan theatre where gastronomic displays will tingle the taste buds, with charcuterie, chocolates and cheese all on the menu.

Visitors can also look forward to French-themed street performers, musicians and dancers, as well as a champagne and oyster bar and wine-tasting seminars.

Food and drink are not the only items on the menu however, as their will also be a travel activity centre open where estate agents and developers will be on hand to advise people considering purchasing their dream home in France.

There will also be opportunities to learn and practice French, in addition to a travel seminar pavilion, giving details of popular destinations in the country for tourists to enjoy.
