A new play by Rebecca Lenkiewicz is set to open at the Olivier Theatre next month and the world premiere could be part of an exciting evening out for guests staying at luxury London hotel the Milestone.
Female travellers in particular staying at the Milestone might feel moved to watch Her Naked Sin, a play based around the Suffragette Movement of 1913.
Based in London at the height of the Suffragette Movement, during which period thousands of women were part of a fight to gain the vote.
The play tells the tale of Lady Celia Cain, a woman trapped in a marriage to a man she feels no love for who finds her self alongside thousands of women also struggling to be accepted in a male-dominated society in Holloway Prison.
Lady Celia meets a young seamstress named Eve Douglas, upon which point her life begins to spiral "into an erotic but dangerous chaos".
Lenkiewicz's play at the National Theatre follows a successful run of The Night Season.
The Night Season won the dramatist the Critics' Circle Theatre Award for Most Promising Playwright, LondonTown reports.
Her Naked Skin opens on July 24th and runs until August 9th 2008.
