Travel & Leisure name the Milestone Best Hotel in the World for Service

The unique experience guests can expect when they check into the luxury London hotel the Milestone Hotel and Suites has been praised by judges of a prestigious industry competition.

In terms of service provision, the Milestone in Kensington is unsurpassed anywhere in the world, according to the experts at the Travel & Leisure magazine.

The hotel incorporates a total of 63 deluxe guest rooms and suites and the five-star accommodation was praised by the publication for the dedication and discretion of its staff.

Rival hotels, including the Mandarin Oriental and the resorts run by Aman, were beaten into lower placings by the Red Carnation establishment after it was handed a rating of 98.61 per cent.

Service was described by the judges at Travel & Leisure as being "warm, responsive and intuitive".

Alternative hotels run by Red Carnation are located in other exclusive areas of London, including Mayfair, Knightsbridge and directly opposite Buckingham Palace.
