London-based photographer Tim Walker will have an exhibition devoted to him at the Design Museum from next month onwards.

Patrons of luxury London hotel the Milestone should take time out between May 9th and September 7th 2008 to pay the museum a visit and peruse his work.

Having established himself at the cutting edge of fashion photography, his evocative images have been described by LondonTown as having something "off" about them - "something disconcerting that makes you look again".

According to the Design Museum, his images capture "sublime" moments out of time, full of drama and beauty.

The "stunning" sets and "lavish" locations are contrasted with the absurd and the mundane to make breathtakingly original photographs.

"Tim's evocative images are full of textured nuance and intriguing detail. His innovative photography is amongst the most imaginative and exuberant being produced today," the gallery enthuses.

Guests from luxury London hotel the Milestone attending the exhibition will see a space that has been transformed into an impressively sized photography studio with a giant camera and oversized picture frames to create the atmosphere.
