Carlos in Cuba

Described by the Evening Standard as the "Cuban firecracker", Carlos Acosta is returning to the Coliseum this spring and is set to wow those who attend his performances from nearby luxury London hotel the Milestone.

This March, Acosta is performing with guests from the Royal Ballet at the theatre as part of the Spring Dance season, however it is in his Carlos in Cuba performance between April 9th and April 12th that the star focuses on the contemporary dance work that truly makes him stand out.

Carlos in Cuba will see Acosta team up with the Danza Contemporanea de Cuba. The Danza Contemporanea de Cuba previously featured in the dancer's Tocororo, a dance Acosta created based on his own life.

Expect to see contemporary Cuban works as well as the Tocororo Suite which includes highlights of the famous original show.

A live band and 18 Cuban dancers help to create a fantastic atmosphere for this pre-summer show.

According to the Times, Acosta is "one of the most beautiful movers ever to have graced a stage" and guests of luxury London hotel watching his Carlos in Cuba performances can visit the Coliseum this spring to ascertain how true this statement is.
