Naturally you’ll find a superb selection of the established names of the Old World, the time-honoured clarets and Burgundies, the majestic wines of Italy and Spain, the immaculate vintages that bear such magical names as Montrachet and d’Yquem. Add to these an equally fine representation of the great New World wines that have become classics in their own right, and you arrive at a cellar full of splendour for anyone wishing to sample the loftiest peaks of winemaking. But you’ll also discover a list that includes their more down-to-earth neighbours, together with a fascinating variety of delights from less celebrated regions – wines from Mexico, Greece, Georgia, Slovakia, Moldova – all equally worth investigating, and all personally selected by our sommelier.
