Located in the heart of the Dorset countryside, near Dorchester, Summer Lodge is set in four acres of perfectly maintained gardens. This luxurious 24 bedroom Relais & Châteaux property has swiftly earned a reputation as one of England’s finest country house hotels. As a member of Relais and Chateaux it accommodates a wonderful three AA Rosette restaurant, where an extensive wine list is created by one of the world’s best sommeliers and diners are assured of a gastronomic delight.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our passionate team to work alongside the Sous Chef and Head Chef and to assist in the running of a section and be constructive in the new menu creation.

As the Chef de Partie you will be responsible for:

·Working on menu development along with the Sous Chef and Head Chef

·To supervise junior staff members

·To assist with the ordering of stock

·To assist different sections in the kitchen

The ideal candidate for the Chef de Partie position will have previous experience in a similar role, have an NVQ Level 2 and be passionate for providing first class food to our guests. Experience in a fine dining three Rosette or Michelin star restaurant is desirable but not essential. We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and hard working person with excellent communication skills.
