Restaurant Manager

The Old Masters Restaurant within the Rubens at the Palace Hotel in London is looking for a Restaurant Manager to join the Food and Beverage team of this beautiful four-star deluxe property, located opposite Buckingham Palace Road and a short walking distance from Victoria station.

Key responsibilities of the Restaurant Manager will include:

• Ensuring prompt and professional guest service
• Managing service periods, mainly breakfast and lunch
• Being involved in training and development of the Department
• Stock and financial control

Working hours are mainly from 6:30 am until 4:00 pm, however we require a candidate to be flexible to work late shift when necessary. This position has excellent progression opportunities within Red Carnation Hotel collection, the perfect first step to those who are looking for an exciting career in Food & Beverage.

The ideal candidate for the Restaurant Manager should:

• Have previous experience in a similar role in a 4 or 5 star Hotel or restaurant
• Have food safety courses
• Excellent knowledge of food & beverage preparation and service
• Financial awareness with rota and time sheet preparation
• Be able to interact in a professional manner with guests and employees
• Communicate effectively in English
• Be eligible to work in the UK

Diploma in Hotel Management or Restaurant Management would be a plus.
