Alexandra Burke Performs Lady Sings the Blues at the Royal Albert Hall

British pop superstar Alexandra Burke will be performing a special concert version of the classic Lady Sings the Blues at the Royal Albert Hall this summer.

Originally an acclaimed 1972 film starring Motown legend Diana Ross, Lady Sings the Blues tells the story of the life and career of the jazz icon Billie Holiday and features a soundtrack of many of her most famous songs.

This live concert performance will allow Burke to pay tribute to both Ross and Holiday, two of her musical role models, as she puts her own spin on some of the greatest jazz standards of all time.

Luxury London hotel guests can see the show at the Royal Albert Hall's Elgar Room from June 4th to 8th 2013.

It could be perfect for couples enjoying a Rekindle the Romance deal at The Milestone Hotel, which includes all sorts of extras aimed at loved-up visitors.

Guests will receive a single red rose and pink Champagne on arrival, as well as a romantic rose petal turndown and chocolate-dipped strawberries to enjoy together.
